KOPILOT.ID launches NFC-enabled emergency ID

VAIL, Colo. (BRAIN) — KOPILOT.ID has launched an NFC-enabled emergency and medical ID system designed for outdoor athletes and explorers.

The product pairs a rugged, tap-to-view tag with a free iOS and Android app, allowing first responders and good Samaritans to access life-saving information for the user, even off-grid.

KOPILOT.ID holds details like medical conditions, medications, allergies, and emergency contacts. Profiles are securely user-managed, instantly updatable, and require no subscription.

The system requires no batteries, charging, or cell service. It can be tapped with any NFC-enabled smartphone and is updateable anytime through the mobile app. It can be mounted to goggle straps, helmets, packs or jackets and was designed for ski, moto, MTB, gravel, hike, climb, and other activities.

"We built KOPILOT.ID for people who love big days outside — and want the peace of mind that comes with being prepared," said Justin Bradshaw, the co-founder of KOPILOT.ID.

KOPILOT.ID also announced the continuation of a safety-driven collaboration with The Kurt Caselli Foundation, named for the late motorcycle racer. The partnership is expanding education and access to practical safety tools for off-road and outdoor communities.

Exposure updates Sirius headlight

(BRAIN) — U.K.-based Exposure Lights has added the Sirius 11 model to its road and commuter light product range. The model offers USB-C charging, up to 1,300 lumens of white light, and the ability to flash for up to 130 hours per charge.

Made from 6063 machined aluminium, with a IP67 waterproof rating, the Sirius 11 weighs 90 grams and is compatible with Exposure's range of brackets and mounts for the handlebars, on a helmet or beneath an out-front mount.

The model has been update with simplified program and modes that provide different run times between one hour and 24 hours in constant modes, or from 12 to 130 hours in pulsing modes.

Exposure's DayBright pulse pattern is claimed to provide visibility from over 1 km away, while the lens configuration generates 240-degree illumination.

New bottle and cage system engineered around airflow and ease of access

Cane Creek adding 1x chainrings for its eeWings cranks

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (BRAIN) — Cane Creek has added 1x chainrings to its lineup of products, offering the ability to use most modern drivetrains with the brand's eeWings titanium crankset.

The CNC-machined 7075 aluminum rings — for mountain and gravel bikes — use an eight-bolt direct-mount fitment and have a universal tooth pattern.

Cane Creek has collaborated with other brands for chainrings in the past with customers having to search elsewhere when upgrading to eeWings cranks. The narrow-wide tooth design is compatible with SRAM Eagle and T-Type and Shimano Linkglide and Hyperglide+ chains.

The gravel chainrings come in a 3mm offset only, and when paired with eeWings All Road cranks, have the 47mm chainline used by GRX and SRAM gravel drivetrains. The mountain bike rings come in 3mm or 0mm offset, and when paired with the eeWings Mountain cranks have a 52mm or 55mm chainline used by many mountain bike drivetrains.

Northwave releases new Celsius XT Arctic GTX winter cycling shoe

(BRAIN) — Northwave's new Celsius XT Arctic GTX shoe combines versatile all-terrain sole technology, a "GORE-TEX and Primaloft fusion," and low-cut upper design. Northwave says it's a "comfortable, adaptable, and durable shoe built to tackle any terrain and condition."

The model is the flagship of Northwave's Fall-Winter 2025/26 collection. It was designed for gravel or mountain biking. A low-cut design provides foot protection while allowing full anklemobility. A neoprene gaiter also ensures flexibility while maintaining weather protection.

The shoe features Cirrus XT 4L, a new PFAS-free membrane from GORE-Tex, paired with Primaloft Gold 200-gram eco insulation. Generous rubber lugs provide grip and stability across terrains while maintaining cleat adjustment through the 37mm channel.

Prologo expands its AGX saddle line

(BRAIN) — Prologo is launching three new lightweight, high-performance saddles designed for gravel riding, in its AGX product line.

The range expands with the introduction of the new semi-round Nago R4 PAS AGX, the flat Dimension R2 AGX, and a redesigned version of the round Scratch M5 PAS AGX.

All new AGX models stand out for their technical features that deliver enhanced performance and comfort, even on the roughest gravel roads. That includes thicker padding with next-generation foam, wider and flatter nose, offering a larger contact surface for better pressure distribution and stability during aggressive pedaling, a base made with dedicated materials to increase flexibility and comfort, improving shock and vibration absorption, "Slide Control" technology on the cover for improved bike control and stability, and "PAS (Perineal Area System)" central cut-out to eliminate pressure peaks and ensure proper blood flow.

The AGX saddles have been developed in collaboration with top gravel riders, including world champions Matej Mohoric, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, and Marianne Vos.

The new Nago R4 PAS AGX, a semi-round T-shape saddle ideal for riders with good pelvic mobility, measures 245 x 137 mm and — like all AGX models — is available exclusively in the PAS version.

The Dimension R2 AGX, a flat saddle with V-shape ergonomics and a forward-positioned anatomic center, evolves from the previous model with a wider, flatter nose. Equipped with PAS technology, it is available in two sizes: 245 x 143 mm and 245 x 153 mm.

The 153 mm version is perfect for riders with a wider pelvis or those seeking improved weight distribution and comfort. The Dimension R2 AGX 153 features 5 mm thicker next-generation foam padding compared to the standard model.

The new Scratch M5 PAS AGX was redesigned for gravel. Prologo's iconic round saddle gets a major update in its gravel version, improving both shape and technical performance. The new, wider, and flatter nose provides a larger, more supportive seating area when riding in an advanced position. This evolution allows riders to fully exploit the T-shape design, ideal for those who like to move freely along the entire length of the saddle.

Equipped with PAS and Slide Control technologies, the Scratch M5 PAS AGX is available in two versions: a compact 250 x 140 mm and a wider, more padded 250 x 147 mm, designed for riders with greater sit-bone distance or those who prioritize comfort.

(BRAIN) — The wheel brand Fulcrum and textile brand Polartec are joining forces for a co-branded wheelset, wheel bag, and cap.

The wheel bag is made of Polartec Power Shield Pro fabric, which is made using a sustainable non-PFAS monolithic membrane. The bags, co-branded with the two brands' logos, can be converted into "a sleek, fashion-forward travel bag," Fulcrum said in a press release. "Seriously," it added.

Meanwhile, the included matching cycling cap is "highly breathable and quick drying fabric shelters you from the sun and humidity – reinforcing the brands’ objective to blend on-bike functionality with off-bike style." Seriously. (We added that).

Liv Cycling introduces Tempt E+ line of e-bikes

NEWBURY PARK, Calif. (BRAIN) — Liv Cycling unveiled its new Tempt E+ line of e-bikes that the brand says blends utility with trail-ready performance between two models: the Tempt E+ EX and the Tempt E+.

Top features of the EX model are a 100mm suspension fork and ALUXX-grade aluminum frame, kickstand, fenders, Recon lighting system, and a MIK rear rack. The SyncDrive Sport 2 motor has 75Nm of torque and is paired with an integrated 430Wh battery that can be extended 200Wh with an optional range extender.

The Tempt E+ also has an ALUXX-grade frame, 100mm suspension fork, and SyncDrive Sport 2 motor with 430Wh battery that can be extended 200Wh with an optional range extender.
